Proverbs 31:11-12
11 The heart of her husband trusts in
her,
And he will have no lack of gain.
12 She does him good and not evil
All the days of her
life.
I've been meditating on Proverbs 31 for the last few weeks, I find this section of scripture so encouraging. Verses 11 and 12 have been weighing so heavily on my heart as I strive to be a godly wife for Sam, one that he will fully trust. To help him and do no harm to him!

Menu for the week of March 7th!
I have been in such a menu planning rut...boo! I'm in desperate need of some spring. I am in desperate need of early morning running so I can be ready for the Boiler Maker 15k in July...if only my body got the memo...I'm feeling more sluggish as I creep towards 30.
I'm going to try some new recipes this week. It is going to be crazy with my husband getting home very late most nights as his Robotics Team prepares for a competition this Saturday. Then we have one week before the baseball season starts. My boys are very excited for Daddy to be coaching baseball!
Here we go...

Tuesday : Tomato Hamburger Macaroni Soup, a favorite! with homemade bread
Wednesday : Garlic Brown Sugar Chicken with steamed carrots
Thursday : Bourbon Chicken over rice with mixed veggies

Menu for the week of January 10th!
I'm getting back into menu planning after a very busy few months! I've missed it.
Monday - Black Bean Chicken. Already in the crockpot ready to go!
Tuesday - Spaghetti (homemade pasta! maybe?) and meatballs. I'm going to make Lasagna for a friend and deliver it in the morning.
Wednesday - Chili with Cornbread. I'm not sure what recipe I'm going to try for chili, I haven't found 'my' recipe yet.
Thursday - Chicken Noodle Soup in the crockpot.
Friday - Pizza night!
Saturday - Pancakes and Sausage and I'm not sure what we are going to do for lunch/dinner. We sing at the nursing home that day so maybe we will get lunch with our crew?
I also made a new bread recipe last night (100% whole wheat!) that was really yummy. I enjoyed homemade toast this morning with my homemade strawberry...made me dream of warmer days!
